Awards

To provide PPNCF Membership continued education through a monetary scholarship award based on PPNCF Service, Print Education Participation, and Attendance. This award is good for any accredited educational opportunity from any Local, State or National photography or photoshop or association.

This award must be used within the calendar year of receipt usually given in January. All members in good standing are eligible. Members must have a minimum of 12 points earned to qualify.

Points are earned as follows: Attendance: 1 point per meeting.

Service to the PPNCF:

Board Service: 2 Committee Chair: 2 Committee Service: 1 Outstanding Service Award: 2

Print Education: Minimum of 4 to qualify. 1 point per people’s choice submission. Additional point for PC merit.

Award Finalist: Points will be added up and the top 5 winners will write an essay with 200-400 words of what photography means to them and why they need this award.

The Scholarship Committee formed of the Past President, Committee Chairman, and a third member of at least two years, will read the essays and determine the best qualified member with consideration of points earned. The Board of Directors will then review the Committees findings and vote to accept the finalist.

A tuition check for the amount of the scholarship award will be made payable to the institution sponsoring the continued event. The award must be approved by the Board of Directors. If the recipient has already paid for the educational tuition, proof of purchase must be submitted and a check can be written out to the member
